HOW STRUCTURE IN YOUR LIFE HELPS
Success begins with an organised home !!
How can you expect success in your life when your house and personal routines are chaotic?
After 25 years in the British Military, you first learn to look after your own personal habits, your space/shared space and personal attributes before you can contribute to the team.
Your team can comprise of many things, your family, marriage, work colleagues, sports buddies or your local community.
So get your things in order!. If you are a mess at home, leave everything to the last minute, have clutter everywhere, and can’t find a thing, whether that be clean underwear, a paperclip, or an important document or a clean plate and cup, then how can you apply the needed skills to your external life, school, job or business and be a success?!?!
HOW BEING ORGANISED HAS HELPED ME
I operate from an organised, functional, habitual, structured routine. This can be as simple as starting with making your bed, hanging up your clothes or folded them away, dishes done and kitchen surfaces clean and tidy.
This allows me to focus and concentrate more on the bigger things that matter, knowing the basics are in order and your full attention can be concentrated on the task ahead; operating from a Present space, optimally making the best considered decisions I can, benefitting all.
This may sound petty, but an organised home breeds an organised mind. Creating the mindset of a professional.
Then, when a hurdle or blockage comes up; for which they always will; you have time, space and present focus to deal with it completely. The last thing you need is to have that busy, mind wrenching day at work, coming home to a total mess and having then to spend unnecessary time putting it in order. You could be spending that time more wisely, coming home to that organised home space will allow you to decompress, unwind and spend the time just being you and focusing on your own needs.
At the moment when mindfulness and mental health are at the fore; and rightfully so; the first step you can do is to allow your own mind the time to recover first, like the saying says, life begins at home.
If you want or need more help or want to ask me a question about this philosophy then drop me a comment and let’s work together to create the perfect environment for you to flourish and reach your true potential.
